Research Assistant responsibilities include:
washing seed using various methods, drying as directed, making pelleting powder mixtures, preparing supplies for experiments, washing labware by hand or dishwasher, counting seeds using a machine, data entry, and general cleaning.
Performing seed lab work such as trial set-up, plant preparation, seed cleaning, and labeling.
Candidate must be able to manage data collected from experiments, provide support to leads and perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Basic computer knowledge Able to lift 50 lbs Able to work days and some weekends Able to tolerate dirty and noisy conditions with proper protection Organizational skills Some agricultural background preferred High school diploma or equivalent Interested in this opportunity?
